The JV scholars' bowl team's 3-3 record wasn't enough to place at tonight's meet, but they won a place in our hearts when they shopped for a gift for an Angel on the Satanta Christmas Angel Tree!

Thank you to Satanta Lion's Club and Haskell County Rotary for providing books and dictionaries for our 1st and 3rd graders!

SGS Holiday Spirit Week starts Monday.

Five State Honor Band was held in Guymon , Oklahoma, this year. All three musicians from Satanta High School who auditioned were selected to participate! Deacon Hockett was 2nd Chair Snare, Jalynn Hockett was 5th Chair French Horn, and Lauren Dusin was 5th Chair Alto Saxophone. Jalynn, who is not pictured here, was ill on Friday and had to miss the performance.(We're sure he'll perform next year!) We are very proud of all these students. Congrats to them at their instructor, Ashley Johnson!

Yesterday Daughter of the American Revolution member Kit Griffin (Sublette) did a presentation to the 5th graders during their time with Ms. Briggs on the American Flag; the history, importance, rules, and how to fold the flag. At the end she gave each child their own flag.
