Due to inclement weather, the USD 507 Board of Education meeting scheduled for tonight has been postponed to next Wednesday, January 10, at 6 p.m. The BOE training scheduled for Wednesday will be rescheduled.
Due to the blizzard warning, there will be no school tomorrow (January 8) for USD 507 Satanta. Learn and Play is also canceled. The next Learn and Play date is January 22.
SGS students are working hard to meet goals in the new year! Students can add snow to our snow globe by passing iReady lessons. How quickly do you think we can fill the snow globe with snow?
Due to road conditions, USD 507 will have a two-hour delay today (January 5). Classes begin at 10 a.m. No morning preschool.
SGS will host a Scholastic Book Fair from February 12 to 15. Satanta PTO will provide one free book to every SGS student. If you would like to sponsor books for students, you can donate in the SGS office or Venmo @SatantaPTO507.

Satanta National Honor Society is currently seeking donors for its January 17 American Red Cross Blood Drive to be held at the Satanta Methodist Church from 2 pm to 6 pm. Donors may schedule their own appointments at https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/donation-time, or they may text or email NHS Sponsor Ryan Burrows (620-649-7167 or rburrows@usd507.org) to get on the donor list.
All pints collected will go toward scholarships for NHS members.
