We have been working to gather additional information and will continue to do so. According to PowerSchool, there is no longer an active threat. However, it may have affected the data of our employees, students, and their families. We are taking steps internally to protect data security, including changing passwords and PowerSchool settings.
USD 507 is serious about protecting the security and privacy of all data. At this time, we are waiting for additional information from PowerSchool and guidance from state officials. We promise to do everything we can to learn more and will communicate directly with parents, guardians, and employees.
