HONOR ROLL
Kids learn more when they are at school! Research shows that frequent absences from school have a negative impact on later academic success. Families can help students succeed by encouraging regular school attendance, only keeping students home when they are sick, planning vacations during school breaks, and scheduling appointments to avoid missing an entire day of school. SGS set a goal of 95% average daily attendance this school year. We exceeded this goal first semester with an average attendance rate of 96%. We fell short the third nine weeks, with an attendance rate of 93%. Let's finish the school year strong by meeting our attendance goal the fourth nine weeks!
